“Strata” è il nome latino della nostra parola “strada”.

L’etimologia del nome porta con se una serie di significati che hanno a che fare con la costruzione di essa: un’insieme di stratificazioni materiche, di cui il manto stradale è l’ultimo visibile.

Nella fotografia alla vista dell’antica Via Latina si aggiungono altre stratificazioni, naturali o antropiche, le quali creano diversi livelli di lettura, visibili o meno, immergendoci in una dimensione altra, fatta di stratificazioni di luci e di ombre.
